Awesome 9 hole course. The owners are extremely friendly and always have good stories.This is a walking course. all holes are part 3 and 116 yards or shorter. A Sunday bag" is all you would need to get by. Pitching

White Pines Golf
My husband and son went there today for a quick nine holes of golf. The lady that served them was very nice. My husband bought 2 beers and asked her if he could take them out on the course with him, her response was yes of course you can. He did so and started golfing. On the 6th hole an older gentleman stopped and told my husband that he was not allowed to have beer on the course. My husband then informed him of what the lady had told him. The man then told my husband that the woman did not say that. My husband and son skipped holes 7 and 8 and continued with hole nine and then went back to the club house. He informed the lady of what the gentleman had told him and she said that she didn't know why the man told him that because beer IS allowed on he course. My husband then said how rude the man was and that he would NEVER go back there again nor will it be recommended by him. Such a disappointment.

Shane was an awesome guide. Not only did we catch some amazing fish (while others around us were not as successful) but he is extremely knowledgeable about the lake, the species and fishing tactics for each season. Highly recommend using his charter service.

Swy-A-Lana Lagoon Fishing Pier
WOW! Absolutely gorgeous place to visit and highly recommended to all visitors to Vancouver Island! There was food trucks, a swimming beach, a bridge to cross or go under to collect shells, the pier was boasting with people crab fishing and watching the boats come and go. If you are looking for a good place to do photos, this is a perfect place!
